Job description
Microsoft’s Frontier Company Engineering team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to work directly with customers on complex, production-focused data and AI challenges.
You will develop models, run experiments and drive evidence-based decisions with measurable business impact, working in multidisciplinary teams across the full lifecycle from data discovery to deployed solutions. The position is remote eligible with travel below 25%.
Responsibilities
- Acquire and prepare structured and unstructured datasets
- Develop production-ready models and scalable data solutions
- Evaluate models against genuine business outcomes
- Design and improve model evaluation methods
- Run experiments that inform customer strategy
- Write extensible code and apply effective debugging practices
- Define customer and solution strategy goals
