About the opportunity
KPMG Australia’s Energy Transition team, within Commercial Advisory and Transactions, advises corporate and government clients on the energy and climate transition. The team provides commercial, financial, transaction and strategic advice across the energy infrastructure lifecycle and works with KPMG’s global decarbonisation network.
This Sydney-based Associate Director/Director role will help develop market opportunities, strengthen senior client relationships and lead major advisory and transaction engagements. The team supports private-sector clients navigating growth, decarbonisation and investment opportunities across generation, storage, midstream infrastructure, retail and offtake markets.
The role is full-time and operates in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Originate new opportunities using strong market presence and energy-sector experience
- Build relationships with strategic and financial investors
- developers
- major energy users and hard-to-abate industrial clients
- Lead transactions across the full deal cycle
- including deal structuring

Requirements
