About the program

KPMG Australia’s 2026/27 Vacationer Program is designed for students who will be in their second-last year of study in 2026. It offers practical experience and real work from the beginning, helping participants build professional skills and learn within KPMG teams.

Vacationer opportunities may be available across areas including tax compliance, business reporting, public policy, cyber and other professional services. KPMG recruits students from a broad range of degree backgrounds, including accounting, law, engineering, commerce, information technology and business management. Applicants can nominate the work areas that best align with their studies and interests during the application process.

The program is a contract role lasting approximately 3–8 weeks and typically commences in November 2026. Some teams may operate to a slightly different schedule. Applicants nominate their preferred KPMG office location during the application process.
